Beloved Dunblane Café to Relaunch as The Tin Can Café
Relaunch Set for Saturday, August 16th
A local favourite with roots in the heart of the Dunblane community is entering a new chapter. Formerly known as James Speciality Coffee Bar, the much-loved coffee van at Stockbridge Nursery is officially relaunching as The Tin Can Café.
The café is currently undergoing some TLC and will reopen its doors as The Tin Can Café this Saturday, 16th of August.
Loyal customers can rest assured: while the name and setup may be evolving, the heart and soul of the café remain unchanged. The revamped Tin Can Cafe will feature the same staff, menu favourites, including scones, filled bagels, homemade soups, and baked tatties, and an expanded space to better serve the growing customer base. New additions and quirky surprises are also promised, with details to be revealed after the launch.
Current owners Claire and Fraser, who took over the café back in May 2023 said, "The decision to rename the café was driven by ongoing customer curiosity and a desire to reflect its quirky, authentic identity. It literally is what it says on the tin. We've grown, but we're still grounded in what made this place special: great coffee, local produce, homemade bakes, and a lot of community spirit."
Over the years, the cafe has evolved into much more than a coffee stop. It's become a meeting point for locals, a destination for tourists, and a favourite for dog walkers, complete with a dedicated dog menu.
"We're incredibly grateful for the support our customers have shown us," says Claire. "They're the reason we're here, and we can't wait to welcome one and all to become a part of our Tin Can Family."
